Here's what the various filter limits mean: -

People under 12
This shows only General U sites suitable for everyone.

People Over 12
This shows General U plus PG 12 sites.
Some sites may have vulgar or profane language.

People Over 15
This shows General U, PG 12 and PG 15 sites.
Some sites may have violent or overtly sexual themes. (default setting)
