Rob Bloom's style is a lot like David Sedaris. Or David Sedaris meets Dave Barry. Or David Sedaris meets Dave Barry meets Rob Bloom. Or David Sedaris meets, oh well, you get the point.
He's a funny guy. I wish he would do a column about 70s and 80s stuff.
Rob Bloom has a very clever writing style. He's humorous, yet poignant. Reading his commentaries might make you think about things differently, but it will definitely make you laugh. Rob Bloom's writing is very smart and funny.

I've listened to as many so called prank callers as I can find. Most of them I have to stop before they are done because they are worse than pig shit. I've heard some that are funny and I put them a top ten. But LUCIUS outshines them all, he's like the Richard Pryor of prank calls. Thak you Lucius and all the other characters you do, for all the side splitting laughter.

Out of Jzero's Horror trilogy which included "Buzz Saw", "Yummy Yummy Yummy I Got Jimmy In My Tummy" and this one, "The Horror Of Tiddlyville", I've got to say THIS one is my absolute favorite. This guy really gets me LAFFIN'! Put butts and meat grinders in the same sentence and you've got Horror Story GOLD! Throughout the whole story you're waiting for poor ole' Harold Fussbutt to SNAP - and boy, does he EVER! I kept laughin' and looking over my shoulder to see if anyone saw me laughing like that... it was THAT ridiculously funny! I recommend this highly. Great story!
