Writer & PerformerVaughan Savidge was born somewhere in 1956 (I'm guessing), and has been living off the rest of us ever since. But, if we can just get a serious word in ... Vaughan is a professional film director and broadcaster, specialising in the presentation of record programmes. He has many, many, many years experience as a writer, editor and presenter of films, documentaries and commercials. He's always up to something or other, and seems to make money at it. He also has extensive film shredding and splicing experience, and currently reads the news occasionally for the BBC World Service in London. So now you know. He is available (at a price) to shoot your TV commercials and documentaries. On many occasions, he even threatened to shoot Warwick Evans.
Writer & PerformerA co-writer of Double Take, Warwick Evans was born in England in 1954, and has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1976 (alas, poor Warwick). Warwick is a professional broadcaster, specialising in television news presentation. He has 20 years experience as a writer, editor and presenter of TV & radio news, documentaries and commercials. He was HK-TVBs main news anchor for 6½ years. He also has extensive film dubbing and scripting experience, and currently works as a sub-editor in the newsroom of RTHK - the Hong Kong Government radio station.
Performer & Producer
The late Barry Bakker was a professional broadcaster, specialising in radio news presentation and drama. He founded Hong Kong's first professional theatre company, Theatreast, in 1979, directing and acting in many fine productions. He went on to produce the famous and highly-acclaimed "Oids" series of satirical revues, beginning with Skitzoid in the early 1980s. He also had extensive film scriptwriting/dubbing experience. He died in hospital in Hong Kong on 26th September 2002 after a long illness, and will be remembered for his caustic wit and outstanding professionalism |
