Customs Officer:

Which country have you come from sir?

 

Back Packer:

Thailand, man. Hey what's the problem?

 

Customs Officer:

Do you have anything to declare?

 

Back Packer:

Nothing man.

 

Customs Officer:

Did you bring any alcohol, cigarettes, illegal substances back with you sir?

 

Back Packer:

I told you man - nothing.

 

Customs Officer:

No hashish?

 

Back Packer:

(getting worried) I told you man - nothing.

 

Customs Officer:

All right then sir. Sign this please! ...

 

Back Packer:

I haven't had to sign anything before man. What is this?

 

Customs Officer:

New policy sir. It's called a Joint Declaration.
