In the Cartoons section:
John Zakour's Computer Cartoons (surely not, John!) and from the jokes and section bit the Canonical List of Sorority Jokes.

After he has rightfully being hassling me I have eventually got around to updating the links to Andrew Wong's excellent collection of pages. The available links are now as follows: Adrian Edmondson FAQ, The Young Ones FAQ and Ben Elton FAQ. I've also added a link to the Rik Mayall FAQ which I sadly missed out last time.

Things are getting hectic with trying to finish my PhD and also earn some money to put bread in my mouth so I haven't been able to update HUMORNET UK as often as I would have liked recently. Today I've eventually got around to adding the following links I've been sat on for a while: Carry On, They Think It's All Over, Red Dwarf Scripts, Mr Bean, Friends, Roseanne Online (Update), Godzilla Vs The Disco Monster, Eddie Izzard (2) and, last but by no means least, Dame Edna. There's some corkers there so I hope they re worth the wait.

"Laughingly Referred To...", the humour research bibliography has has an Access 7 version added to its range of formats and the Paradox 4 version has been updated.

After a little time of not being able to update HUMORNET UK I'm back with a load of top quality links.
In the Inspired, Creative and Bizarre section there's Eeeek-NET!, RubberChicken, Private Eyes and the graphic-intensive but inspired House of MORPH.
In the Cartoons and Animation there's new links to Al's Funnies, the Undiscovered Comic and the brilliant Superkaylo along with the trials of technology at Old Motherboard's Tranquillity Haven and the Macromedia enhanced Garfield Online.
On the British Comedy pages there are new additions for pages devoted to Lenny Henry's series Chef and The Official Monty Python Site.
Updates include new URLs and revamped pages for London's The Chuckle Club and the extremely funny Ian Cognito.

"Laughingly Referred To..." the humour research bibliography has been radically updated and restructured and now includes 3700 individual references.
Individual chapters are now available on this server in both text format and as zip files and the whole reference is available as in both Word 7 and Text format as a self-extracting zip files. Further the Word version also includes an author index.

New links added to the well designed and bilingual Roseanne Online, a collection of Simpsons sounds from around the web, an excellent Friends site and also for Friends fans a link to the You Gotta Have Friends Online Fan Club.
In HUMORNET UK's British Comedy section link added for Double Take - Warwick Evans' radio scripts with a Hong Kong theme.

A brand new section is opened up on HUMORNET UK called Inspired, Creative and Bizarre.
Basically its devoted to all the best comedy sites on the net that I haven't had a category on these pages to fit them into so far. Links there now include Churches ad hoc, Fade to Black, Joe Lavin's Humor Column, MUDDERS and the Toasted Marshmallows Online Comedy Magazine.
The image map on the home page has been updated accordingly and while I was at it I revamped the animated GIF there too but only users of Netscape 2/3 or the beta of Microsoft Explorer 3 will notice this.
Also, links to the HumourNet Web Page and its Mailing List have been updated and the out of date link to NBC's Men Behaving Badly page has been removed.

JavaScript added to HUMORNET UK's homepage so that Netscape 2/3 and Microsoft Explorer 3 users can see the page fade from red to white while loading.

The Fast Show pages on Geocities appears to be back online after its recent run in with the BBC legal dept and so the link is back up.

To make up for the fact that there hasn't been an update at HumorNet UK for over a week a brand new section of HumorNet UK has been opened devoted to the classic British comedy series, The Goodies. There are pictures, a complete guide to the programme and a series guide written by Keith Topping and sounds are soon to follow.
A link to a new Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer page added and, to show not everyone likes HumorNet UK, links to UK Laughter Links and the Polly Gigguns pages have been removed at the request of their owner.

HumorNet becomes HumorNet UK so as to avoid any confusion between this site and the HumourNet Web Page in the States. All you have to remember is that the UK site uses the American spelling of "humo(u)r" and the US site uses the English.
New Carry On... and Father Ted links added to HumorNet UK's British Comedy section along with links to scripts for The Goons and Red Dwarf.
Netscape 2 users will now see the New icon as an animation..

There's Goon...But Not Forgotten and the under-construction Richard's Goon Page plus links to Michael Bentine's home page and an interview with Spike Milligan.

Having seen the brilliant and spooky Animated GIF on SANE Solutions' pages I've changed the logo on HumorNet's home page to an animation. (Netscape 2 users only).
A spring cleaning and reorganisation of directories. These changes should be invisible when browsing but if any graphics go missing that's what it is. Please let us know if you spot any problems.
